Funded Projects

·         2017: Won a Vice Chancellor’s grant of Ksh 1,200,000 for research on the Abundance and diversity of wood-boring beetles and their associated natural enemies in Isiolo, Nairobi, Machakos and Nakuru counties in Kenya  

·         2012-2013: Won $ 12,000 award from NACADA to conduct research on the Trends and patterns of Emerging in Kenya at the 2nd National Conference on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Theme: The Youth and Drugs

·         April 2012: won 2 year post Doc scholarship $ 12,000 from National Council for Science and Technology (NCST).

·         August 2011: Won $ 10,000 for eight months on staff development from DAAD and ICIPE

·         May 2004: Awarded a Doctorate Scholarship by BMZ Germany through in International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE)

·         May 1997: awarded a Masters Scholarship by International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE)
