In the first year, students take units from the University Common Courses, and some common units.
In the second year of study, students are expected to take two units from other programmes in the School of Environmental Studies and Human Sciences, and the rest from the programme for which they are registered.
In the third and fourth years of study students have the option to pursue specializations within the programmes.
